I've been harsh on Micko and his treks to all parts of the country for 'the love of the game', but I think this is absolutely brilliant, and probably more of a measure of the man than any smart comment I'd ever make about him. To go back to your club U14s after all he's done in his career is brilliant. Maybe I've had him wrong all these years. Well done Micko, maith thú.

Fair play all the same.

Leave it alone HS. Did the Tyrone lads not do enough spitting on them?

The novelty won't be long wearing off when they have to do 40 laps for their first training session.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

No spitting. Just ball handling. Affectionate, loving, ball handling.

A well deserved award even if they wouldn't give him the Aussie rules gig.

Kerry great Mick O'Dwyer is among four former players inducted into the GAA Museum Hall of Fame for 2014.

Former greats O'Dwyer, Waterford hurler Pat McGrath, Kilkenny's Noel Skehan and Sligo footballer Michael Kearins have become the second group of former players to receive the awards since the inaugural event last year.

Wait for Ferron to make an attention-baiting joke about how much money they're paying him.

I thought it really was an April Fools' at first but it's an excellent gesture by the great man. I wonder how many of his players even understand how lucky they are?
