Poland led England 1-0 in the final game of the 1992 European Chmapionship qualifiers. A Poland win would have put Ireland through.

At 1-0, a clear penalty wasn't awarded to the Poles here at 2:00 when Chris Woods bundled over one pf the Polish players. Lineker equalised and England qualified.

True. I'll be more precise: Chelsea won the FA Cup twice between losing in 1994 and the fairy Godfather arriving with his bag of money.

.....and they've won it 4 more times since.

I don't know why Fowler was commended for that? He should have rolled the penalty kick gently to Seaman to restore justice.

+1. I've seen it done at a lower level and thought it was great. There's so much dishonesty in soccer that even a half-assed attempt at sportsmanship is deemed praiseworthy.
