Yeah..  I wonder if their exploitation of their customers will last? What other service could set up on a small island that speaks the same language all over it and charge extra for phoning one part from the othet using the same network and get away with it. Not that its likely to happen but it would be imterestingto see how o2 would handle scottish independance would there be roamimg charges? When you'd cross the border at carlise

Any network will charge more if they can get away with it. In relation to Ireland our political  'leaders' allow people in border areas be touted and I am continually surprised that SF in particular makes no effort to improve things, as their voters would notice.

Yeah, a couple of bastids had the audacity to text me Happy New Year as well.
Who do these feckers think they are, texting the likes of me, wishing me well in the year ahead......

::)

Family and friends it is a nice gesture though I would personally rather call and see those I wanted to wish a happy new year to, rather than receive a text from someone 4 doors away who you wouldn't see one year to the next.

It's just the text, twitter, facebook age, faceless people sending non meaning comments, 12:01 pished - Happy New Year and then they wait to see how many they get back.  I wish they would do what I did and delete my number from their phone book.  :)

Dumbass gormless f**kers???  You must mean customers. Folk like my mother who just got a mobile fone because she over 70 and in poor health and thinks texting anything is like flying a spaceship.. Those type of dumbass gormless f**kers.. Sure what else would she do with her pension except hand it to o2
