Dawson quits Antrim....

Antrim Gaels - what's your feeling on the 'return' of players like McCanns,  Scullion, McGourty etc. Would you welcome them back into the squad or do you think you're better off without them? It strikes me that these players are an unsettling influence, have huge chips on their shoulder and haven't really done anything at intercounty level to earn the hype. If they weren't prepared to make the commitment to the previous managers, get shot of them. (Or is the pool so small in Antrim that these guys just can't be overlooked?)

Antrim managers seem to be in a Catch22 - if they're seen as a push over, the players take liberties, if they take a very hardline attitude, like Dawson, the players throw their rattles out of the pram when things aren't done to their liking. It'd be a tough ask for any manager to take on that job
