I want to get a bit of info on Graiguecullen.

What division are they currently playing in?

How good are their youth teams?

Have they any current county players?

Would they be considered a major club in Laois?

Thanks!

Club with alot of History. Being in Carlow town and all. Im sure a few of the laois boys on here will help you out. Believe they got relegated last year for the first time.

Graigue are Division 1 in the league but got relegated last year from the Senior championship for the first time ever. Barry Brennan is their only current county senior player, they have four players on the Under 21 squad for next saturday's Under 21 final v Offaly.
They had an awesome Under 14 team last year, hammered everyone in sight. Generally have very good juvenile teams but have failed to convert this in to senior success for many years now.
Strong club underachieving big time.
Well I could keep it above
But then it wouldn't be sky anymore

Thanks for that.

I've a nephew who's showing great promise who plays for the club.  His Dad (my brother) would never have had a lot of interest in football (despite the family having a long tradition of football in Tyrone) and so I've taken it upon myself to find out what track he's on.  He was playing U-14 last year.
