Without naming them how many good players do you reckon was on the Mayo team?

Couldn't care less . ... but I'd take that no.14 if he ever got sense and moved to somewhere in our fair County.
Our Peno looked a bit soft on the TV alright.

He looks like a lad that could have the makings of a senior player alright.

The two goals at the start of the match were both fantastic goals. Heard the roars of the crowd for them as I made my way in, missed them both, the second by about 10 seconds

Fantastic you say but our defending has to be called into question which was woeful to say the least. Around 60% of the crowd on Sunday didn't come in until the minor game was over its seems most didn't care or know this game was on?

All three were great finishes but my God if our defending wasn't soft as putty. Obviously Mayo have worked on scoring goals - ye hit three in the minor league match we had as well, nevermind the five against Galway in the Connacht semi.

The third one was the killer, 1-1 conceded straight away after half-time. If not for that we'd have probably still edged it even with our wayward shooting.

Mayo have a great chance to make the AI final now but they'll need to up the point-taking because there will come a day when the goal chances don't fall and they'll need 13-15 points to win the game.

Young Irwin reminds me of Kevin O'Neill at his best. The dummy solo was class.
