So if a player hauls some going in on goal he should be sent off and the team reduced to 14 players? Yeah go for that I'd be happy to send them off for that if it were in the rules, cause that will stop players doing it and it will them make coaches train there team in the art of defending and trying to win the ball and prevent such scoring opportunities!!! As what I said earlier ffs

I wouldn't object to that rule. I'd still prefer a sin bin but it'd certainly stop quite a few professional amateur fouls.

There are I suppose rules from other sports that we could adopt, this would be a soccer type rule, they were a bit annoyed that the rule for moving the ball 30 yards for dissent wasn't passed. Sin bin was tried before 10 minutes doesn't really hurt teams that much in fairness so it's got to be longer if used.

I would hate it for it to be over the top refereeing and that's just my view based on how I liked it played and how I liked being ref'd. Striking and 'professional' are more noticeable now. I did corner back for years and would have used every means possible to take the ball from the defender. So spotting this is fairly easy for me........... when I see it ;D
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea
