I bought an i Pad at Christmas and everything was fine with i-tunes and my apps, but latley when I try and update an app or download a new one it tells me I cannot buy from the Chinese store.I dont know if my grandkids have got at this and changed a setting or what but if anyone could tell me how to rectify this I would be very grateful.

I've got an Ipad 1 (yes I'm old fashioned) and can download very few Apps now due to the IOS software being out of date, and even Apps I downloaded a year ago won't update?

Anyone know a way round this?

Buy an iPad 4.

I am getting a bit sick of apple and itunes TBH. The headphones are way too pricey and they aren't very good quality plus I don't care what colour they are. Music is a generic product at this stage.   There is no way I am going to buy an ipad because I have itunes. And the "just sent from my ipad" message at the bottom of all ipad generated emails really gets on my tits. So f*cking what.
And Apple makes margins on 30% on all this stuff. Apple run a controlled environment where you are supposed to have everything you ever need. But it looks like a ripoff.

I think i'll buy a sony.

Loads of devices have that signature at the end of emails.

Since when do Apple control the pricing and manufacturing quality of headphones that fit into any Apple product?
The iPad has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sent from an iPad message ?
Deactivate this via Mail, Contacts, Calendars in Settings, or tap the Signature option to clear or change the message.

Can you buy the headphones individually? After a couple of iOS devices you're flooded with the packaged ones. The new redesign is good, if not spectacular compared to offerings by dedicated manufacturers.

I've never got people who complain about headphones (unless they sound like an FM radio) or the related sticking point of sound reproduction - who is listen to music on their iPod, phone or MP3 player in such a sound vacuum where subtle things that are barely noticeable are even audible? The sound quaility of the headphones and the device itself is more than high enough for 99.9% of situations that occur, for me the biggest thing with music on the go is the accessibility and interface and on both counts Apple win hands down.

Of course you can buy headphones for Apple products. Most every headphones on sale will fit into an Apple device.

Some people regard the ear buds that come with apple products as disposable or best kept for emergencies. If you listen to a lot music, like quality and comfort then headphones/earbuds would be the first accessory to buy.
