When does this competition start?  I'd say Ballinderry, Bryansford, Dromore and Harps will all have a chance.

A good few of those Bryansford boys were on the Paul McGirr winning team about 4/5 years ago who beat Cavan Gaels in the Final.

Was the Paul Mc Girr a 9 county tournament then? Wonder why they never won the Down minor champ this year when seemingly 8 or 9 of the u21 team was minor this year!

It was 2007 I think they won it. Must be about 8 or 9 of the boys involved in that team that are involved now. They would have been part of the 2006 Down U-16 Championship winning side. The McGirr was an U-17 tournament and in 2008 the Ford Minor team lost the County MFC Final to Mayobridge.
