Simple word of advice lads, when you go onto those sites, tv-links, ilivid, dodgy sky streams etc... don't click on any on the windows no matter how convincing or genuine it seems. Just look around the corners of the windows and look for the X to close the window – that's the only thing you should ever click on. They'll try to obscure it sometimes but persevere. Don't ever agree to install any kind of plugin or anything on your machine – a reputable site will never ask you to do it. Also if you are downloading software or torrents, never click on the big green arrow that says 'download now' as usually it refers to some sponsored link to install some spyware ridden Trojan that'll only fcuk up you system.

I had this a few months ago. Just to let you know the virus can't be removed without specialist help.
Fook that, what had to be done?

Not true. I got it and removed it. Malware bytes removes almost anything you'd ever get.

Maybe a stupid question but where do you download malware bytes from??

Downloaded that Malware,  I also have a free version of Advanced System Care.  I've run both numerous times since the virus attack, watching the programmes run I can still see the words Trojan etc.. coming up while the programmes run, still there obviously, but the performance of the laptop seems ok to me.
