I'm told that they have to wait 3 months for their applications to be processed such is the deluge of southerners trying to secure their money stirling accounts. I'm sure there are tax implications involved in what will be classed as off shore accounts but they dont seem to care. Mrs lawnseed has been asked by a friend to put 10000 euros/stg equivalent into her savings account :o for safe keeping. looks like the end of the euro road for ireland to me
