As expected. Thankfully Neil Gallagher is (presumably) fit again.

Looking forward to tomorrow - if only to see how much we can improve from last year...

As with any of Terry's teams from the last few years, you can expect a few changes and reshuffling of positions from the one named on Tuesday night.

Really looking forward to the Minor game too - a win and hopefully setting another run in the competition although it is a brutally hard route ahead of them

On a personal note, great day for our club having 4 involved in the two games - makes it an extra special occasion

Its finally arrived... championship :D Looking forward to tomorrows game. Hoping Donegal can pull through. It will be dificult without Murphy but hopefully some of the other lads can step up to the challenge. Thankfully Neil Gallagher is fit again which is a big bonus for midfield where we struggled last year. I do not expect us to be as defensive this year.. but fear not a blanket will be in place somewhat ;) Hopefully McFadden and young McBrearty will have their shooting boots on !

Also good luck to the minor team. And an interesting fact that there wil be two sets of brothers from the same club (Kilcar) playing between the two games.. Patrick & Stephen McBrearty and Mark & Ryan McHugh. Infact Kilcar will have 6 representatives on the day I think? (Eoin McHugh and Aodhan McGinley also playing minor)

I know Cavan men aren't known for spending money, but how old was James O'Reilly's jersey? Still had the old GAA logo on it!

It appears we will never learn.  Paul duncan needs a medium not a small jersey

Cavan full forward looks a player.
There's a good young team to work with there.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

The FF was great alright. They'll be a serious team in a few years, just lacked a quality playmaker to get on the ball and make things happen round the middle

Looked a good player at full forward, Keating. Didn't he get sent off last year against Donegal?

Facile victory for Donegal, but the main thing was to win. Very sloppy at times and will need to move it up a few gears against Derry. McFadden had a damn good game. Hopefully he continues his form going forward as he did last season. The return of Murphy will be welcome the next day, assuming he makes it. He's done well against Derry in the past. Midfield needs to brush up though. Thought Cavan did very well there today.

thought our midfield held their own yesterday big neil won a lot of ball in that area but we were slow to the breaking ball on a few occasions. we took the foot of the pedal when we went 9 points up and let cavan back into it slightly but never looked like losing and believe the team has another gear or 2 to go up if they need to. Murphy will be back for the derry game was talking to him for a good while after the game yesterday and he said he fully expects to be fit and ready for june 16th which will be a big boost and strengthens my belief that we will turn derry over on june 16th. and on that game does anyone else think its crazy to have a game start at 5 oclock in the evening in ballybofey no reason that it couldnt start later

Well done Donegal in both games.  Some good long range points (wasn't expecting that) but against better opposition, that opportunity may not be available.  How do Donegal do it?  A lot of short kick outs that we couldn't cope with initially.  The fitness levels must be immense.

On to the qualifiers.
