Am I the only person who has a pain in the hoop over the constant yada yada on these matches. Yes, they were great encounters but do we need almost yearly reminders of them. It's now up there with Dubs and Kerry of the 70s for the auld rose tinted specs

yeah, last years 20th anniversary was enough to celebrate it. The DVD that came out a few years ago was great too. But I suppose since some of the main protagonists are now media men it probably wont go away soon.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

These games were unique and will remain so probably forever. Two of the biggest teams in the country locked in mortal combat so early in the year over four games, with the loser eliminated for the summer - it was amazing and once in a blue moon stuff. I certainly have no problem looking at the games again when they're on TV. Every time Dublin and Meath meet it will be brought up and rightly so.
