And big G the most popular leader ;D
Maybe he should have run for President?

Anyway, it's already got a mention here: http://gaaboard.com/board/index.php?topic=20778.msg1058008#msg1058008

Yes, because it's very important. But at least it made you smile.

so its correct then the shinners are getting stronger in the polls? or a poll at least. i'm a little surprised becaused i thought they could have went after labour with a lot more vigour especially gilmore. tbh i thought sf line was a little laid back given whats going on cronyism, nepotism etc.. sell out.. hospitals closing.. job losses.. emmigration.. continued loss of soverinty.. suicide rates.. house reposessions.. crime rates.. inflation.. and on and on.. ::)

Even a poor opposition has to expect a bounce in the polls after a budget. And especially one as bad as that.

I think that all of our representatives need to sit down together and consider where they and the Dáil now find themselves. The traditional bickering is fine in normal circumstances and gives the appearance of them doing something useful to their constituents, but there is a far bigger problem. They are all becoming completely irrelevant.

The Cabinet has a small amount of decision-making input, in that they get to decide where to put the deck chairs and who sits on them, but that is about it. The rest of the TDs are utterly powerless and they should quickly unite (including Government backbenchers) under a banner of 'give us back our sovereignty' before it is too late.

One party, or TD, paying lip service to our lack of sovereignty every now and then is useless. It has to be every party involved.
