An advertisement for this event will appear in the program at Croke Park this weekend.  However, I would really appreciate if any of you gaels would go to www.avonrigolf.com and click on the "SPONSORS" tab.  If you could download the PDF File and print it off it would be great if you could stick it up in your clubhouse.    It would be great too if you are from a newspaper and can give us a plug.

Just want to say that this is still going ahead and while my account is deleted and I will no lopnger be on the board you may still contact heffo, muppett, magpie or whoever is going to this. Thanks to all who have registered their names already. This was vital to letting us know how long to book the course for. Special thanks to people like Orior travelling from Belfast, Kerry Mike and Orangeman who do not even play golf but are coming along to help. Most importantly, thanks to all who have registered to play.  If everyone had waited until the last minute to register we would have no idea of how long to book courses for. If you still want to play please register soon, you can pay on the day.

Just an update.   Popped back in here cause Conal Keaney is sick at the moment and will be out of action for a while.  I will be deleteing tee times over the weekend that have been taken, should have done it yesterday but Conal is out of the game at the moment so lets hope he is back soon.

In the next edition of the Program for Croke Park we are putting "TEXT GOLF" to a mobile phone number which is handier than trying to remember what the email address or phone number was - after you have lost the program.   If you are in Croker and wanna play then just text the number and we will do the rest.

Fees remain low at just €50.  Some charachters and personalities lined up for the day. I am playing in Tulfarris tomorrow so when I am there I will ask about special rates for accommodation and post them on Monday, Avon Ri now almost booked out.  You may still book at www.avonrigolf.com
