This may have been talked about on here before but I will ask this question anyway.

How is it that An Gaeltacht are playing Division 1 League football in Kerry this year yet they are also in the Intermediate Championship?

My mistake. I read the Kerry website wrong although I do see that Darran O'Sullivan's Glenbeigh Glencar are in the Semi Finals of the JFC

I'm not a Kerryman but as far as I know they will be playing as part of the West Kerry Divisional team in the "real" championship...I'm sure Kerry Mike or one of his mates will be along shortly to explain why :-\

Edit I'll save him the trouble.

I think the answer to your question is that all non senior clubs in West Kerry make up the Divisonal team for the championship. This means that everyone (An Ghaeltacht, Castlegregory, Lispole, Annascaul....I think) apart from Dingle will contribute to the West Kerry divisonal team this year. I think they might actually play each other in the quarter finals.....that'll be some skelpin session.

An Ghaeltacht are in the intermediate championship at the moment, not junior. They were relegated from the senior two years ago.

The likes of the three Ó Sé's, Ó Flahartha and Mac an tSaoir also play for West Kerry in the senior championship alongside players from Annascaul, Castlegregory and Lispole. Dingle are also in the senior championship so they aren't represented on the divisional side.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

I think West Kerry are playing Strand Road with Tommy Walsh back in tow. Dingle are playing East Kerry.
