Kerry could be caught cold in the semi if they play cork as this was no more than a training game for them

If Cork beat Mayo they'll beat this Kerry side, this game is of new use to them at all you'd see more intensity in the under-age games at half-time, Kerry will be seriously undercooked.

Ahem!

Chimley

Just posting a thumbs down for the standard of stadium announcing for this game. Is there any real need to call out the names of both teams from the programme and put them on the screen two 'minyits' before the start of the game if there are three changes between then and the throw in on one team. Either they get it right with all the changes to the programme or they shouldn't bother. Rant over!

The Burner

To put a bit of context on Limericks performance. We started the game minus the 4 midfielders named on the panel at the start of the year. Galvin, Jim O Donovan, Tom Lee and Eoin joy. We had a wing forward and a full back playing midfield in 1st half. Couple that with Lucey going of injured it was always going to be a huge ask. Full Strength we are well capable of at least putting it up to Kerry we have proven that last year. Stephen Kelly just had one of those days and he still played quiet well. The exertions of the last 3 weeks really caught up with the lads in the last 15 minutes. Johnny McCarthy and Tommy Stack had great game in shackling cooper and Donaghy. I would like to congratulate Maurice and the boys on their efforts throughout the year and Ill always have the memories of that great night in Portlaoise.

I saw 2 inspired moments of individual brilliance yesterday in the Darren O Sullivan goal and Brian Scanlons terrific save from Declan O Sullivan at point blank range

Finally, Looking forward to seeing the great man back in action around the middle of the field next year

Congrats to Kerry and best of luck for the rest of the year

I'm sorry burner but missing players does not excuse a lack of effort and intensity.
There was no pressure put on the Kerry forwards.
They were jogging around the place while the Limerick defenders stood off them.
Why spend all week giving out about the media showing you no respect and then go out and just roll over?
If you were any use you'd be playing.

With all due respect Jinxy but its very easy for you to sit behind a keyboard and accuse them of a lack of effort. Why dont you ask some of the wexford posters about the effort Limerick put in last Saturday night. 4 games in 4 weeks and our 1st championship game in Croker park we come up against Kerry. If some of the Counties out there showed as much effort and courage as the Limerick footballers they wouldnt be languishing in the doldrems feeling sorry for themselves. Alot of counties out there with a lot more natural footballers than Limerick but dont have the same commitment and determination.

Maybe they were watching videos of Meath playing?

Backs have no chance in a pitch the size of CP when the opposition have midfield domination. Forwards will still get 5/6 balls no matter how close you get and in kerrys case that mean 3-4 from play each.

Its amazing how many here cant grasp how difficult it is to mark a really good firward in the wide open spaces of Croke Park at the best of times. And its impossible when you cant win a breaking ball to save your life as Limerick couldnt yesterday.

And as a follow on to that Indiana, Limericks game over the past few years has been based on midfield dominance thanks to the great man. If Limerick dont get 60% possession we will struggle because our forward arent in the same league as the Kerry ones
