An absolute disaster. Haven't felt as bad after a match since the Mayo game and I think psychologically this will be worse for us that that. Can't see us getting anywhere near Cork IF we get the chance to meet them later in the summer. Couldn't believe the subs alright but missing handy chances etc can't be blamed on the line though how Ger Brennan ended up laying RHF I'll never know. Anyway choking is an art from and we seem to have perfected it >:( >:( >:(

Pitiful colllapse again. Sadly you could see it coming when Cork reeled off those quick points after the goal. Imo at least 5 or 6 players who figured yesterday should not play for Dublin again. The "freetaking" and misses at the end of the game were an embarassment. Our substitutions backfired big time.No real consistency in team selection over the league and Sean Murray,Dara Nelson will be imo rightly aggrieved that they didn't play.
The only positive from yesterday is that the hype was killed stone dead.McMenamin can hold his head high.

Really big onus on the hurlers next weekend to salvage some pride for the county.

Alot of annoyed fans in the pubs after the game.

Full credit to both sides for a highly entertaining match. Cork have grown in to a very calm and mentally tough side. I know Dublin will focus on collapsing etc but they lost the best forward in Ireland at a crucial stage and had he remained on they would have closed out the match. Also Alan Brogan not playing is a loss most counties couldnt handle so all in all the Dubs did well.

Good game which dublin will wonder how they lost.

Had Brogan stayed on or Alan been playing I think they'd have won alright however how this impacts their performance later on in the year remains to be seen.

The comment about defense is a fair enough one. I don't think Brogan is a full back - he lost his man too many times at key points and they'd be needing someone more solid there. I expect a suspension for their #4 too as I expect some video analysis.

Cork have clearly improved in confidence from the winning. They have also unveiled a few useful players. Paddy Kelly looks like he was born to play #11 too. Walsh and Canty to come back and it looks ominous. My opinion is that only one team can beat Cork this summer - Kerry. A final between those two again would be worth watching.

Dublin must have some severe doubts about themselves today.  Cork lost 3 of the country,s best and still hauled them in. The mayo 14 point comeback was not a flash in the pan, Dublin are good in the same way mayo are good and bad in the exact same way too. You never know what Dublin or mayo team will show up and live in fear when watching them.
The soft belly is still there.

So losing B Brogan, D Connolly, B Cullen as well as being without our first choice full back, centre back and 2 of our 3 top midfielders as well as A Brogan and O'Gara wouldn't have an impact on the team?

Cork's injury list was as long. Lets quit when we are ahead on this one

Cork only had 3 missing from their semi-final team (Quirke, Canty & Walsh), Dublin missing 7(O'Carroll, O'Sullivan, McConnell, Brogan, Corkery, O'Gara, Henry) and then lost more players through injury.

Indiana its a bit early in the year for starting cute hoorism!

Also missing for Cork were Cadogan and Colm O Neill. They had to play a lot of the game with 3 players with no experience of the big day.
