Maybe bit hard on Boyle in the second half alright and Lynam in the first (he did score two decent points in fairness), fecking impossible to make shit out in them conditions on the far side from the stand... Poor from both teams in the second I thought, we scored two points, one from the free you were talking about and another one from play when the game was over. Louth seemed happy just to ride out the rest of the game after those 3 points after ht instead of pushing on, they only bumped up the scoring in the last 5 minutes when the game was well and truly gone. Anyways best of luck for the rest of the year (another meeting in Leinster not withstanding of course...)

[All of a Sludden]

Louth were pretty impressive at times on Saturday in challenging conditions. The game looked over as a contest after 15 minutes but Westmeath battled back and could have been level at the break after trailing by 8 points. One way traffic in the second half.

Tipperary should be a bigger test on Sunday, hopefully the game will be played in Drogheda.
