Fair enough the jokes about Jade Goody and Harvey Price were a tad OTT but this is what Frankie Boyle is all about. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Having a laugh at it isn't a big crime.
Would you feel the same if he was telling jokes about 'niggers' or 'pakis' or 'homos'? Would you defend him on the grounds that 'this is what Frankie Boyle is all about'? If it's unacceptable to make jokes about people on account of their race or religion or sexuality, why is it ok to mock people on account of a disability, which Boyle has done twice now in recent weeks? Why is that acceptable?

You do realise you are talking to a person who gets off a bus because two men are holding hands?
Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Capt Pat

I would get off the bus if there were 2 men holding hands, and get on the right bus, not the one that goes to the George.

As someone said earlier, would you get off the same bus if it were two hot women holding hands?

:D

Does consistency make homophobia more acceptable?

I caught a bit of this last night.  Have to say i did enjoy him on mock the week, however this show (tramodol nights) is  very poor. Seems he has gone out of his way to be as controversial as possible, and to include almost everything that is deemed politically incorrect with the result that the overall level of comedy has suffered.
The fact he targets some "vunerable" groups doesnt bother me that much but the basic fact that most of it wasnt funny. So much so i turned over to watch the news.

would have to agree, while is standup is brilliant imo, the sketces just aren't near the mark. The one where he was sitting at the table with his da talking about ridin monkeys and sex just wasn't funny...

I couldn't work out how that sketch was supposed to be funny

ONeill

Enjoyed most of yesterday's show. The lad who puts phones in people's houses for the banks was funny.

The extreme sexual content still makes me a little uncomfortable as it verges on the perverse.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
