It felt sterile today.

Christy descried it as "special" !  ;) :D I'm serious about that too.

Christy also described the sausages he had for breakfast today as "special".

Class.  :D

And another thing, this pitch-side interview with Marty for the whole stadium to hear is a load of ballax.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

After watching the hurling presentation on TV and being at today's, I thought it was shite. Fair enough it's sensible to give the players enough time to celebrate and what not after the final whistle, but after 5 minutes or so let the fans on. It will soon be getting like shite soccer presentations.

And what was the big rush in the Minor presentation? They didn't even let the winning captain give a speech, played music while lifting the trophy, and when the players were lifting the trophy they were ushered down onto the field after about 5 players got the chance to lift it.

Have to say I've come round to the idea. Players seemed to enjoy it and no danger of any of them being punched etc.

Was thumping Diarmuid Marsden along with everyone else in 2002 after the game but while it was mental in a good way, maybe what we saw today is the way to go.

Fence needs to come down though and presentation maybe needs to be in middle of the field so everyone can see.

I reckon that's why he decided he wasn't going to be on the pitch at the end of the '03 final - once bitten etc ;D ;D ;D

In all fairness, the players have just won an All-Ireland.
They'd be enjoying themselves either way.
