I think this is a great new feature on the RTE coverage.
The replay of the shot that Bernard Brogan had saved in the first few minutes was a thing of beauty.
He's completely focused on the ball as Justin McMahon is diving full-length to try and block, he gets the shot away and the ball is heading for the right corner before McConnell dives full length to his left to save it.
Great stuff.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

It was shown on the big screen at the game, looked fantastic. Makes ye sort of think about having the video used in refereeing decisions. e.g. Just take a quick look up and see, ah yeah there it is, square ball, no goal. I remember seeing Down's Paul McComisky debating (about the 'throw/handpassed' ball for the goal was it?) to the ref, and mouthing the words 'look up and see for yourself' and pointing to the screen..

Although Alan Brogan's high five was an epic fail in slow motion..

Yeah they need to be a bit more selective with the replays.
At one stage they showed a lad standing up in the hogan stand clapping in slow motion.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

That was the turning point in the game, after that it was clear we were beat.

In fairness it's possible he was just clapping really slowly and it was a normal replay.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Puckoon likes this. Made me chuckle during an otherwise sad 80 minutes.
