Deserves a thread of it's own as it will only get lost elsewhere, did anyone else see Brennan completely maul a Meath players face(didn't catch the player) on the ground, couldn't believe it when I saw it especially considering the furore around Galvin. Wonder will the CCCC review this but then again the TSG didn't highlight it so probably not.

Absolutely Dinny. First reaction seeing it yesterday was that TSG will be on him tonight. obviously events took over and may actually save him.

If you were any use you'd be playing.

I thought this was gouging when I was watching the game, but the Meath lad never really made a big deal of it, so maybe it was just hands on the face pushing him down.

Obviously the events afterwards have saved him because there won't be a squeak about this from the CCCC.

I cant remember this either. But just because of other events, he should not get away with something he did. (Although if it was the same thing as what Galvin did, it should not be a suspension, there was nothing in that)

I think it was Crawford, and Brennan held his head down as Crawford was trying to get up. Didnt think it was that bad, but only saw it once.

I thought it was bad enough on first viewing but it was never replayed, Crawford didn't make a meal of it which is probably what saved him, think it's only fair that it should be highlighted athough it will probably only add to the Kerry conspiracy fringe if nothing happens...

I was pretty sure it was the latter at the time - not very sporting, but nothing dangerous.

One of the Galway players gouged one of the Sligo lads last week and not a word about it either. Everyone had their knickers in a twist over an incident involving a much bigger name. This trial by media is a pure joke and only works because the people at the top are more concerned with what will be written/said than what is right and fair.

Wouldn't worry too much about the Kerry lads,I think they are well able to look after themselves.

The CCCC only appear to give attention to an incident after it is first highlighted on TSG.
The Sunday Game is the unnofficial first part of the disciplinary process.

Though if you contact the CCCC to ask them to review that incident, I am sure they will oblige you ::)

Thought it looked bad when I seen it. It was more than pushing him down, he was closing his hand around his face squeezing him with some force. Linesman was standing right next to him, it happened just by the line. Was no need for it.

Saw it and whatever he was at it wasnt in the spirit of the game. Looked to me like he was trying to gouge.
