Is it only me or has there been a lot of draws this year ?

If it's that close after 70 minutes, the odds are probably fairly high that it could be even after another 20 minutes.

i would say less than there used to be, no?  I think there's been as many since the injury time had to be declared in advance by the ref, stops him playing for the draw as obviously.
Don't know that bookies like them in gaa, sure everybody likes a wee flutter on the draw do they not?

£10 on three draws today would have been nice.
yip, and I usually do a wee acca on draws, doubles and trebles - was on the road all morning and only home at 2.30pm, too late to put it on, still, made a wee bit by laying the dubs at 1/5.

The more cynical among us might suggest that the prevalence of draws is directly related to Lansdowne Road re-opening.

If that was the case, why was the extra-time rule introduced this year?

Conflicting wants.

Your average delgate wants to give the club calendar a chance, and not ruin it with replays. The average bigwig though has wages to pay.
