If they don't back the tories then nationalist parties Scottish,Welsh and Irish could hold the balance of power. They have 17 seats, 12 not counting sinn Fein. Labour the Lib Dems and the other 3 nationalist parties would have a majority.

Six months ago you wouldhave thought the Tories were a slam sunk for a majority government, worst recession in years, Iraq/Afghanistan, banks/ bankers bailed out yet the British public still don't quite trust that shiny faced hoor Cameron enough to form a government.
