I heard somewhere last week that the GAA are awaiting word back from Dublin City Council about new "exciting" ideas for raising extra revenue by using Croke Park. Apparently there'll be an announcement in 3 weeks.

These "exciting" ideas: would they involve scantily clad young ladies dancing around the goal posts at the canal end?

If not then forget it.

I've heard the Government have agreed to allow Ireland to follow in the steps of ancient Athens and we will now have an annual vote to exile a citizen for 10 years. This vote will be held in Croker and will be done as a live reality TV programme.

I'd like to see the gaa develop more hybrid international like our hurlers v england cricketers or rounders v USA baseball. if we're gonna try to fill the place i think internationals are the way to go. the hurlers v england another opportunity to beat blighty at their national game-- priceless and a chance for the hurlers to represent their country what do ya think

Just quoting what I heard. Some of the things have never been done in Ireland before apparently. I expect it will mostly consist of allowing extra days for concerts and hosting American Football in Croke Park again though.

did yez see the lads at the France v ireland ladies soccer match with the thierry henry banner taunting the trappitoni brigade thank god they'll never get the opportunity now to bring their hatred into croker. I'm not a soccer fan but this kinda thing where fellas pay to have banners made inciting hatred where there be another luv ulster riot is definitely not wanted these crowd have no class
