Add the 2 Dublin games from 2005 and 2008 game
Dublin have been in quite a lot of big games over the years losing them all nearly.

Meath 91 (Last minute goal in 4th replay)
Donegal 92 (Missed penalty)
Derry 93 (Last minute winner from Johnny McGurk)
Down 94 (Missed penalty)
Tyrone 95 (Charlie Redmund sent off and not going off, Tyrone equalising point not allowed)
Kerry 01 (Fitzgerald side line kick from 1/2 way line for draw)
Armagh 02 (Cosgrove missed easy last minute free)
Tyrone 05 (Mulligan beat half the team in drawn game)
Mayo 06 (6 point lead in second half and ended up getting beat)

I don't watch many games from tape, unless I'm looking for something from a coaching perspective (forwards movement etc), but on TG4 whenever they run All IReland Gold I like to watch The Kerry Dublin 1978 game, Kerry Offaly 1982, Kerry Offaly semi final 1980, Offaly Limerick 1994, Dublin Meath 1991.

I go with Offaly-Kerry 1982... it had it all and I still watch that tape...

i was thinking of football, have you any of these games recorded, and how often have you watched them truthfully. cant watch tyrone now they truly have started puke football dont think they ever played in a classic. down v derry '94 is a keeper...

Well for a start, Hurling is incredible to watch, I often go to Hurling AI ahead of a football. So maybe youre narrow minded?

I think all of them where on TV, and most recorded.

Tyrone's tactical game makes for good games, when a team plays good football, like Cork, Down in 07  and a few more, the have to go back to basics, and their forwards are at their very best like this and are a joy to watch.

Lazy analysis... All Ireland hurling finals in recent years have not been very good. Last years was class and before that you'd have to go to 2001 for  a good final. I'll let you google to find out who was playing...  ;)

Tipp and Galway maybe??  Without the aid of google

2003. Kilkenny Ended Corks 3 in a row bid with a 1 point (maybe) win.
Good game in the wet.

Also Kilkennys demolishion of waterford 2 years ago was amazing, maybe not a classic, but a superb display of hurling.
