I have been commenting on a growing elemant of hooliganism at games this year (Old Trafford, Emirates, The City of Manchester Stadium), so something like this was sadly inevitable.

Reading earlier that it may have been a fight between fellow fans. All speculative though.

Once went to St. James's to watch Liverpool. Couldn't get tickets in the away end so had to sit with the natives. When Bellamy scored to give L'pool the lead the and celebrated in front of them they went ballistic. It soon became apparent to them that I wasn't with them. The language they directed at me well you wouldn't hear it from a docker!! Luckily N'castle won 2-1 so they had calmed down by the end. Never again though  :)

Think it was just that Bellamy got them really riled that day. Yeah normally they're v nice, goes for the whole city in fairness.
