According to Mallie, the two Governments aren't making any plans to come yet. Plus Dodds says it's too early for some to be saying the deal is done.

There is never going to be a good time for some in the DUP.

I suppose that's something the shinners don't have a problem with. Those who always say no end up spliting.

Eamonn Mallie has been saying DUP members have been leaving the meeting without speaking to the press.

Just moments ago he tweeted, the deal has been agreed!

DUP MLAs back deal with Sinn Fein

The DUP have said they have reached a basis for deal with which they can move forward on the devolution of policing and justice.

DUP assembly members gathered at Stormont at about 2200 GMT on Thursday.

Party leader Peter Robinson told the media shortly before midnight that the decision to back the deal had been "unanimous".

It is understood the British and Irish prime ministers may travel to NI on Friday if they feel a deal is close.

It's been 3 years since this happened. A deal was reached then (altough it's supposed to be this deal) and it looks like a deal has been done now. To be fair I don't think that's a bad turnover for what are considered two extremes in a 12 year young peace process.

Any word of DUP men jumping overboard? Maybe now  we can get back to those scandals that so excited the board a few weeks ago.

Why am I not excited about this?
why i suppose many people in the six counties feel like this at present and maybe duely correct     we must applaud the shinners for their expertise and belief to stay with the deal
our country will change dramatically because of this deal      the war will really be over
