Does anyone on here go to watch their Christmas shows?

Went to see Howl last week and thought it was good enough craic. Went to see the Tractor Show and A Christmas Carol with them in it as well.

Nothing spectacular and a bit blue in parts but a decent enough night's entertainment. I've been to a couple of 'comedy's' in the Opera House and been disgusted by the state of some of them but at least you're guaranteed a few laughs with the 2 lads.

Your fella out of Man About Dog and Pulling Moves is also in the play and I'm a big fan of his (Even if he is limited to playing spides). So all in all I'd say it's something different and you may as well go to the theatre for a change.

Must book tickets for Howl. Missed their show last year but its normally a good laugh.

Seen "Santa Claus - What the Reindeer Saw" a couple of years ago and went to see Howl last week.

Would pretty much agree with Screenexile on Howl.  Before the interval was a wee bit slow at times but i thought the 2nd half was very good. (maybe that was because i got a couple more beers in at the interval  ;) )

In the Reindeer show i seem to remember them trying to cram jokes in for the sake of it whereas there is more of a story to Howl & while it's still funny they weren't caught up in trying to fit as many jokes in as possible!

All in all a good nights entertainment.
