There is an online site where you can get info to change your DVD player to all regions.I can`t remember the address but if you type in dvd codes,It will pop up.You then follow the instructions and do it via your remote control.

If you are buying something on the net from the US, ask the seller if they wouldn't mind listing it as a "gift" as this way you will avoid duty. Duty must be paid on anything over €50. Your package will get held up, you'll get a post card telling you to riing customs to pay the duty before it is released. If it is marked as a gift it should sail right through.

regarding the dvd player and the regional restrictons and different zones-
make sure your machine is empty
power it up
open the tray
hit 000
this brings up a regional menu
select 0 here i think (means no regional restrictions)
should do the trick


but mabye google it for your own machine- each one maybe different

each one is different.Google it and you get the code for your make and Model .It can be a 4 or 5 digit number.

What about if she was to buy a camcorder with a mains charger? would i be able just to buy a charger over here or would it not be worth the risk of maybe not being able to charge it. I know the better ones have a built in rechargable battery.
