gallsman

Anyone from DJ, Shefflin, Whelahan or Seanie Mac. Surprised no mention of Jamesie's absence from the list. Certainly as good as the likes of Joe Deane or Eoin Kelly.

INDIANA

Seanie Mac or Whelehan for me. I never saw a better player than either of them and that includes Henry or DJ.

AZOffaly

Whelehan for me, as a pure stickman I'd have him on any team, any time.

When you look through the list though, there's been some greats alright. Joe Cooney, Seanie Mac, Nicky English, DJ, and others that didn't even make the list. We were very lucky in the period from the mid 80s onwards. Savage players to watch. And with the likes of Noel McGrath and Joe Canning coming along as well, it's looking bright for the future too.

ha ha derry

Tommy Walsh played alot of different positions and got allstars for them.

The top 3 on the poll - Shefflin, Carey and Whelehan are probably the correct top 3.
