Mice come indoors at this time of year when it is getting colder. They can squeeze into very small spaces. Around this time a couple of years ago I spotted on in the kitchen, the fecker ran under the microwave, which I would hardly have thought possible,

They have no backbone so can squeeze under the smallest spaces.

Reminds me of a few boys I have played football with over the years....

Puckoon

Thats interesting about them being able to squeeze through a biro sized hole, or having no back bone.

Easiest way to kill a mouse is just to hold a pen behind its neck and pull its tail. Bingo.

I'd them in my kitchen a few years ago, they'd come in to the sitting room too and under the couch and run under my feet.

I hate the f**kers, traps are the only way to go.

I've found those sonic things ok but people forget they don't get rid of mice once they're in, they only put them off settling if they haven't already.
Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Top of the hill

The oul pair had a cat for about 8 or 9 years and in that whole time they only saw it with a mouse once and would still get the odd one on the house.

Me ma used to complain the cat was no use at keeping mice away. It was only after the cat died that they realised he was doing some good. That winter they had in infestation of the wee buggers. The oul boy had to put traps down everywhere. He got 12 in the utility room alone.

They got another cat shortly after that and haven't had much bother since

That's the Chicago way

The Watcher Pat

The best way to catch them is with a milk bottle lying on its side in the corner of the room.

Put a small piece of chocolate in it.

The mice will go in but cant get out as the bottle is too slippery for them to get up the slope again.
There is no I in team, but if you look close enough you can find ME

Like your thinking TWP.  Where do you get a milk bottle these days  ?
