Shefflin's performance in the semi was as good a performance as you'd see. Joe Canning got one last year on the back of one so why shouldn't Shefflin? His point from a free when Dunne got put off and his penalty showed the character of the man too.

JJ Delaney shouldn't be getting one. Great player no doubt but he's out of position this year and therefore not at his best. Tipp FB in there but I dunno who you'd put in HB. The Tipp HB line were very impressive yesterday though so maybe one of them.

Padriag Maher should be full back.

I agree.  First time I've posted on the hurling side of the board so apoligies for my nieve understanding of the camen game. For me Maher stood out above most others.

to leave out joe canning is criminal.

I kow a lot of lads from the hurling counties that despise canning and make/have made derogotory comments about his ability against the 'top teams' since he first appeared on the scene.

imo there is no doubt. He was Galway this season.
No team have managed to stop him, only his supply.

Cannot believe he was left out of that team yesterday.
