I have my Sky Sports Football Yearbook ordered from Amazon (£12 as opposed to £20 on the High St), Setanta switched to ESPN, trips and tickets organised to Celtic V St Johnstone in August and Spurs V Man Ure in September, and the only thing left to do is to acquire the new Spurs home jersey with Robbie's name on it which I will attend to very shortly using a lifestyle sports gift voucher given to me earlier in the year (the away jersey will arrive in due course free gratis courtesy of my spurs credit card ;D). All this and Ireland and Italy to look forward to in Croker in October. Bring it on! ;D

Do any of the rest of you prepare as intensely as this?

No.

However I am also just after getting ESPN, however not really for the soccer, more for UFC, College football and baseball.

But as for the new season, I am looking forward to it, I'm waiting for Ticketmaster to send me my tickets for the Ireland/Australia match on Wednesday night (anyone else going?).

I'm also hoping to get tickets for the Serbia and Italy matches, does anyone know when tickets go on sale?

And I'm thinking of getting the new Everton away jersey, I don't support them but I think it looks nice.

How much is it? Their devious trick of putting ESPN America on freeview has worked its magic . . .

Galwaybhoy

€12 if you already have Sky Sports, if you dont have Sky Sports its €15 I think.

Hmm. I don't think I'd watch it enough to justify €180 a year. I'll just have to get the baseball out of my system (A-Rod hitting a home run in the 15th inning of a scoreless game will probably do the trick)

Keane sold Spurs down the river came crawling back and was useful as a used condom and your getting his name on the back of your shirt  ::)

Loyalty eh. One way street.

can you buy ESPN seperately from your Sky Sports, the same way Setanta was. Or is it added on to your Sky subscription

No Tony were not all sad spurs fans...Your preparation for the season sounds like it will last longer than Spurs season.

It's added onto to your Sky subscription. Sky are looking after the subscriptions, marketing etc of it.
