Kilconly SuperSub

Cant believe how much Galway have declined in last few league matches and this championship. They may be weak in the middle of the field but they should be so much better. Their style of play shows hesitation to shoot and hints at lack of confidence. When they do play well and pressue the opposition they dont seem to be able to to sustain it. Lack of fitness? Not sure PJ is finished. Surely he would still be a devastating inside forward?

I think the problem is that we had an ageing team when manager came. He cut too much. Savage, P. Clancy, had still much too offer, both hugely intelligent players. They could have been used as subs while bringing on the minors of 2007. Now we are left with minors who were never bloodied properly in the league. Damian Remington could have learnt so much from Savage in training.

Now we are going to be searching to minors to back bone certain parts of the team when they should be coming into team as support players not the main act. Seems like a waste now. I think we wasted the league, next years one going to need about 5-6 new players in. We need maybe two backs (we need cover for hanley and a least one corner back for cover), desparately need one if not two midfielders, Center forward (I would try m. meehan for a league game), No. 13,...

If we could achieve half the wish list from the 2007 minor team it would be great..
