I never got any acknowledgement of my membership yet so I wonder did all members get to vote on whether the GAA should be associated with this European Association?

You should call an extra ordinary GM or would that be dramatic?

Maybe I should call the guards !  They insurance man told me the day I was digging the spuds that I was a member from the time I took out my car insurance but I never got any membership card or notification of meetings.  I haven't lost any sleep over it or anything like that but at the same time I would have thought that important decisions like joining a european association would be put to members?  Maybe if I hang around Kiely's in Donnybrook or do a stake out of the UK Cricket Association on Primrose Hill in London I might catch Dessie coming or going.  Then, there is always the bag of spuds ploy, but I think the damage caused by making me an outcast during these negotiations has put our good relations beyond a bag of my best Arran Banners.

Maybe we should all go for the cheap insurance, all join the GPA, then vote to close it down altogether and then for charity we could have a go at the Guinness Book of Records by having the biggest car crash ever in the Phoenix Park which should put the insurance company out of business along with them.

Edit :  Postman left a message while I was out this morning saying package for collection at Post Office Parcel Office, collect after 3pm so up I goes and what is it ?  It's a frigging GPA Teashirt !!!
