The GAA have announced that a special Duo Package will be available for Dublins Quarter Finals in hurling and football.  It will be 50Euro for a stand ticket that will cover both games and 10 euro for juveniles that will also cover both games.  Tickets are available online exclusively at http://tickets.gaa.ie

These type of offers will be restricted to Dublin and will not be offered to Galway, Cork, Antrim etc.  Buut it doesn't say that in the article, I'm just saying it for devilment.
Neither does it say,as it implies that both Quarter Finals are NOT in Croke Park and the hurling Quarter Final against Limerick is in Semple Stadium.  Still I suppose it is a step in the right direction because on the site it tells you if you can pay at the gate for the different matches.

I see they have also got Quarter Final + Semi Final packages ( for the confident fans ) available for Dublin + Cork footballers ..
But none available for Tyrone and Mayo .... Why not ??

The thing that I like about these packages is that you can get kids tickets for a Fiver for each game without the hassle of trying to get the limited number of family tickets from the clubs

To be fair to the Cheeky Dubs, it can't be offered to Cork or Antrim as they're out of the hurling so won't be in a q/final and I think they'd originally said that it would be available for Galway or Cork if they qualified for both. Hard to run it now for Galway as they wouldn't be sure of being into the football q/finals until 9pm on Saturday night if they win and with the hurling q/final the next afternoon, you just wouldn't have time to run any package for them.
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.
