Bensars: Robbie Keane is by some distance the most reliable and most prolific goalscorer his country has ever seen. On top of that he's one the most exciting players to watch that his country has ever produced.

The restraint he has shown in not celebrating goals in front of his former clubs' supporters is rare, and combined with the respectful, thoughtful way he carried himself through the Liverpool affair has marked him as having remarkable levels of integrity for a footballer.

He is one of the few players in the Premiership who you know will give 100% regardless of the occasion, and one of the few players in the Premiership who behaves likes a fan; in love with his club.

Yet some of his countrymen still climb over each other to knock him.

I don't get it.

It was Keane's goal alright.  This clears up any uncertainty.

With good reason - it's infested with adware, spyware, unwanted menubarware, invasive, CPU-hogging shite, etc. This is a good description of it I found somewhere:

"Real Player is a small bastard with inferiority complex and delusions of grandeur, not too different from Napoleon. Although Real Player's task is simple and limited to a certain timeframe, Real Player defaults to running at all times, whether its limited functionality is needed or not, and claims a seat for itself on the throne commonly called the systray."

Have to agree with theWobbler the 'Hated' sentiment that erupted as to this goal claim baffles me!

Keane scores (alot of) goals, works hard, never says anything dodgy, never has a dead grandmothers funeral to attend, alway there for friendlies, no faked injuries.

If you are not happy with him f*** off and Jump on the successful Rugby Bandwagon (no offence to our successful Rugby team).

Well said and I couldn't agree more...
I doubt he would have went celebrating like that if he honestly thought or knew he hadn't scored.
Amazing really how so many Irish people love to hate a man who gives eveything for his country everytime he plays, and has scored some vital goals for us as well..

You'll Never Walk Alone.
