don't remember the last match there between the two? ...maybe a U21 game a couple of st patricks day ago...Niall McNamee ran riot...
Hows offaly goin now with a new man in charge two weeks together they will be liable for a shock!

will to win is important the will to prepare to win is vital

Looking forward to this game, i think it has the makings of a good one. Offaly will be expected to put in a good performance while Louth will be looking to get back into winning mode after the loss to Down. A month ago, I would have predicted an easy Louth win but now I'm not so sure. I will go with Louth to win a tight one especially given the players we have coming back from injury.

Any word on a team yet? Louth or Offaly?

A few weeks ago you would have chalked this down as a Louth win.
Offaly showed signs against Longford that they may have turned the corner a little.
The onus is on the players to justify their decision to oust Richie Connor, so they should at least be showing effort.

A lot depends on how match fit the McNamee brothers are. Both came on against Longford having just come off the plane from Australia and looked rusty. If they have managed to get back a football under their belts in the last few weeks, it should help matters.

Louth will have the advantage of settled preparations and less messing with managers and player positions. I suspect there will only be a couple of points in it, no matter which way it goes.

Uibh Fhailí will be a much improved team and will give this game a real lash.  However, from what I saw of An Lú in Newry  they are definitely candidates for promotion.
