Just getting over the shock from a phone call I received this afternoon relating to a friend of mine, young lad, same situation. I can only hope that the heartfelt thoughts of everyone here can some way help the families of both young lads.

Unfortunately all too common these days. RIP

people talking in euphemisms probably doesn't help the matter.

suicide is still a taboo subject. It's no wonder that depressed people dare not utter a word to anyone and end up taking their own lives.

media "sensitivity" is a misnomer when everyone can read between the lines anyway. the problem needs to be tackled head on and discussed openly if we're ever going to make any progress.

deepest sympathies to this guy's family. I can't imagine anything worse.
