You better hope that your county board don't a few extra euro on at the gate like the Armagh one... then you'd have a row on your hands never mind worrying about where you play the games

??? Media hype works. Surely the glamour game is against All-Ireland champions and local rivals, Tyrone, who will also bring large numbers of supporters and not  AIQF-defeated Dublin, whose few stragglers will fall by the wayside pubs before they get beyond Chapelizod, never mind Ballyshannon ?
Betchya the Donegal v Dublin attendance beats the Donegal v Tyrone attendance.

And whatever about glamour there is no question the Dubs bring the most noise and most colour to wintery away league games.

If both were played on a Sunday and either both or neither were on tv then I think the Tyrone game would have a much bigger attendance. A couple of McKenna Cup games have attracted 13-15,000 fans this decade in Ballybofey between the 2.

We should go with Letterkenny ... Ballyshannon is almost 100 miles away for "home" supporters up in Inishowen ... Letterkenny is nice and central ... I can't understand why we have been using Ballyshannon so much over the years ... rant over!

Gaoth Dobhair Abu

Ballybofey is the only ground really "fit for purpose" (thanks Arlene) Letterkenny is most improved but capacity lets it down and as for Ballyshannon - well enough's been said on that already!
