Free Web Counters

I know they're old hat, frowned upon, and dated, but can anyone recommend a Web Counter?

I used to use www.Zcounter.net but it seems to have gone belly up.

Google provide a great free counter. I'll get you the details tomorrow when I'm next on the computer.

Statcounter is a great service run by a young Irish bloke, Aodhan Cullen and I recommend it highly. It does a lot more than count site visits. It can supply you with detailed stats such as user agents, keywords used by visitors and other dtat that is only available to people with premium site hosting.
Cullen was one of the top 30 young millionaires featured on RTE, one night last week. I use Statcounter for a few sites I manage and I recommend the sdervice.

Just beat me to it Lar, I use statcounter too and haven't had any problems with it. The log is quite small but if you download it fairly frequently it's not a problem.

I use statcounter too and never had a problem with it. However the last wed while it has been crashing/freezing on me. Anyone find that?
