Oliver Postgate - Creator of the Clangers, Noggin the Nog has died

Oliver Postgate the creator of Bagpuss and some of the best childrens TV (The Clangers, Bagpuss, Ivor the Tank Engine, Noggin the Nog)has died at the age of 83. 

He also provided the voice of the Narrator for these programs.  Memories.

Great shows every one of them. Seems to have been a lovely man listening to the radio this morning.

On a rather cynical note, his benefactors will be over the moon over the timing of his demise. Let the DVD sales commence.
