Legal experts reckon he wont be eligible for 9 years, he is appealing as the jury was an all-white jury.

That's a bit of a hypocritical road to go down. Besides, how does he prove that prejudice played a role in the verdict unless a juror makes some such allegation? However, if much of America believes he was aquitted previously based on race, he may have a point.

I haven't followed this case very closely. Did he get a typical sentence?
