In these recessionary times it is still good to know that there are people out there who are willing to put their time, money and effort into helping those less well off in our world.

My sister is going to be part of a small group of 35 people heading to Namibia in January to work on the redevelopment of a run down school for children. See the link for details http://www.friendsfromireland.ie/future.php

Though not on the scale of the Neil Mellon created, Township Trust,  this small building project will when finished, help to house, feed and educate children from a large provincial area in Sorris Sorris in northern Namibia.

As part of her fundraising the Kerry Mike extended family are donating funds from Christmas presents this year instead to the fundraising.

Again I know times are tough at the moment but if anyone would like to make even a small donation by way of sponsorship drop me a PM.

Cheers Mike

Many thanks to the magnificent 7 posters who have made a pledge.

One last push up the board. Don't be biting my head off now.
