Laptop Question

I have a IBM Thinkpad and after 5-8 minutes of use the screen goes black. If I put it in hibernation and then take it out of hibernation the screen is fine for another 4-6 minutes then the same thing.

Any idea why this would happen?

Is this on battery power? Have you checked your power settings? Maybe its a graphics card problem.

(I'm assuming your not talking about it sitting there for a few minutes before the screensaver kicks in  )
