Can any of you native speakers translate the following:

A world is worth a thousand languages

Many thanks

Olly

It means that when it comes to the likes of Earth, there are many people speaking many different languages and thats a good thing.

Or something to that effect.

And again how do you put fada on letter?

Is fiú míle teanga an domhain ?
Proper translations of a phrase like that are mor idiomatic than literal though.

I have another translation question.  Can anyone help me with the following:

For ever, for always, and no matter what

I'd be very grateful for help.  The person asking me, I sense, is probably thinking of a tattoo.

The literal translation is "Go deo, i gcónaí agus is cuma cad é."
