and in this side of the country, another cyclone is forming off the Pt.Hedland coast. And Carnarvon is flooded again.

and some sicko lit a massive bushfire that destroyed many homes and livelihood, but fortunately no deaths.

Whereabouts is Carnarvon again? I think I may have been there, on the Perth to Broome road is it?

Sri Lanka floods are sad, as this worst in the areas affected by the Tamil war.

certainly could. rivers in northern australia regularly rise between 10 and 20 metres. Anyone who has been to Katherine in the Northern Territory or Fitzroy Crossing in Western australia will see how high the waters rise.
