Kildare -3 price is an absolute steal.

Corn,

Remember they have to win by 4 , three is a draw and you lose.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine, the GAA is the only sport when you you get shafted for the "Draw". All the americamn sports have a push. i.e. you get your money back if you tie. Even the soccer has "draw no result" odds.

Anybody know any online bookies who do 1/2 points, so as to avoid this.

Not overly enamoured with anything this week, Kildare look likely winners, but not overly confident they will do it by four or more. Would take Monaghan and two or three points.

Looking ahead, I like Tyrone next week at 8/15 to win, This Armagh team is not the one of the last 5-7 years, going through the dreaded restructuring period in my mind.

I like Dublin over Meath the week after at 1/2. Meath not a very good team at the moment. Dublin may physically overwhelm them especially around the middle.

I know Joe, but just could not see how Offaly would get within four points.

GAA is not the "only" sport where there is a price on a draw at all, in fact it is only American Sports where they don't offer that price. Rugby, Soccer, 72 hole matches in golf, there is always a price for a tie where that can happen.

Secondly, you aren't getting shafted since in most cases since if you were offering a match handicap on this game the average would be 1/1 OY +3, 1/1 KE -3. 8/1 HC Tie. If they were to do half points, it would be 1/1 OY +2.5, 8/11 KE -2.5. Many people would prefer even money and with one extra point to find - it's simply a matter of taste.

If you do want half point handicaps, www.bet365.com provide them - though they won't be inclined to lay a bet of any size.

lone Shark,

My frustrations stemmed more from the past when you were given crappy odds for a win and only one handicap option. Now with Multiple alternatives it is not as bad. Still like the 1/2 point idea though or a "push" for a tie.
